Bldg 65 and 66 Defense Supply Center Richmond

At the Defense Supply Center Richmond, roof leaks caused extensive microbial growth on interior fiberglass roof insulation panels. Scaffolding was installed to within 7 feet of the roof deck and AIM removed approx. 400,000 SF of affected fiberglass panels in a HEPA filtered negative pressure containment in 10 different bays. The project lasted 14 months. Mold resistant gypsum panels were installed.
